The Eurasian Economic Union of Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus to be shortly launched may trigger growth of salaries in Kazakhstan, according to Ms. Tamara Dyuissenova, the country’s Minister of Healthcare and Social Development.
“Both in Russia and Belarus salaries are higher than those in Kazakhstan (…) here in Kazakhstan we may see salaries growing following the launch of the Union to prevent brain drain”, she said when answering journalists’ questions on whether she is expecting an inflow of migrants in the wake of the launch.

"Shut the f..k up!" Messo a tacere sul suo stesso palco, in malo modo, mentre sta intrattenendo il suo pubblico all'"Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre" di New York.

Parigi: sconsiderato gesto di una attivista Femen- Ukraine Femen Activist Fined for Topless Attack on Wax Putin Statue

A Ukranian activist belonging to topless feminist group Femen was convicted for exhibitionism by a Paris court Wednesday for having attacked a statue of President Vladimir Putin at a wax museum in the capital.
Iana Zhdanova, with "Kill Putin" written on her nude breasts, attacked the likeness of Putin at the Musee Grevin in the capital with a wooden stake in June.
The activist, who has lived in France for two years as a political refugee, laughed in court after the judge ordered her to pay a fine of 1,500 euros ($1,900) for vandalism and a crime called "sexual exhibition" in French, as well as other damages payable to Musee Grevin.

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has suggested U.S. President Barack Obama is suffering from a "mental aberration" after the American leader said Russia posed a greater threat to his country than the Islamic State. "It's sad to hear President Obama say in an address at the UN that the threats and challenges facing humanity are in this particular order: the Ebola virus, the Russian Federation and only then the Islamic State," Medvedev said in an interview published Wednesday by U.S. television channel CNBC.

Salaries in Moscow Rise to $1,200 Per Month as Wage Growth Slows

The average Muscovite is pulling in slightly more than 50,000 ($1,200) a month this year, as wages in all sectors increase but fall behind the double-digit pay rises of recent years, a Moscow city official said Tuesday. Workers in municipal services, construction, social services and small business will earn 50,000 rubles or more on average in 2014, news agency TASS quoted Maxim Reshetnikov, head of Moscow's economic policy department, as saying. Wage growth in all sectors of the city's economy will exceed inflation, he added. Inflation has spiked this year due to the devaluation of the ruble and Russia's ban on an array of Western food imports. Officials now say it is likely to strike 7.5 to 8 percent for the year. But the news isn't all good for workers in Moscow — one of the world's most expensive cities, where a decent cup of coffee costs a good 200 rubles ($5). Salaries had risen at double the rate of inflation over the previous three years, but now "the growth rate of wages is slowing," Reshetnikov said.

Google Glass Blamed For Man's Web Addiction

Scientists have treated what they believe to be the first case of internet addiction disorder caused by excessive use of Google Glass.
The 31-year-old man had been using the technology for around 18 hours a day - removing it only to go to bed and wash. The US Navy serviceman was found to show "significant frustration and irritability" when not able to use the device. The man also displayed a "notable, nearly involuntary movement of the right hand up to his temple area and tapping it with his forefinger" as if to switch on the heads-up display.
