Today, November 18, Akorda presidential residence is hosting an extended meeting of the Government under the chairmanship of President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
The event is considering the interim results of socioeconomic development of 2015 and key plans for the coming period amid the world economic crisis.
The meeting is expected to discuss the current implementation of the Plan of the Nation - "100 specific steps". Special emphasis will be placed on the measures of support for socially vulnerable layers of population under the new conditions.
It was noted that the agenda will include the issue on future work on increasing the investment attractiveness and holding of the privatization campaign.

12 killed, 66 injured in suicide bombing at Nigerian market
Two large explosions triggered by suicide bombers have killed 12 people and wounding 66 at a mobile phone market in Kano, Nigeria’s main northern city.
A Red Cross official, who did not want to be named, said “66 were injured and 12 killed” in the attack, according to Reuters.
Kano state police commissioner, Muhammad Katsina, had said earlier that two suicide bombers killed 15 people and wounded 53 at the market.

Blitz all'alba a Saint-Denis, la banlieue 'dura' di Parigi, dove la polizia - grazie a un cellulare dei kamikaze trovato in un cestino davanti al Bataclan - ha localizzato il covo dei terroristi che, stando ad alcuni sms sul telefonino trovato - progettavano un attentato alla Defense, la zona dove sono concentrati molti uffici nella capitale francese. Nei due appartamenti individuati si cercava Abdelhamid Abaaoud, 28 anni, nato a Molenbeek, la 'mente' delle stragi. Il premier francese Francois Hollande ha ringraziato le forze dell'ordine e ribadito che la Francia è in guerra e anche per questo verranno utilizzate misure emergenziali.
Ma è giallo sulla sorte di Abaaoud: sarebbe morto durante il blitz, ha scritto il giornale belga Derniere Heure sul suo sito in base a 'informazioni esclusive' in suo possesso ma il pm non ha rivelato i nomi dei terroristi. E in serata il Washington Post, che cita fonti dell'intelligence, ha riferito che la 'mente' degli attentati di Parigi,Abdelhamid Abaaoud, e' morto ucciso nel raid.

Suspected mastermind of Paris carnage killed in Saint-Denis police raid
The alleged sponsor and mastermind of the November 13 massacre in Paris, Abdelhamid Abaaoud, was killed in a Wednesday raid by French forces in the Parisian suburb of Saint-Denis, a media report suggests.
Abaaoud, who was the primary target of the special operation was killed, the Washington Post reported, citing two senior European intelligence officials.
The police raid in Saint-Denis eliminated a “terrorist team planning new attacks,” Paris prosecutor Francois Molins told reporters on Wednesday evening. The identities of the two people killed in the raid are yet to be determined, he added.
Overall eight people were arrested during the siege and detained for questioning, the prosecutor said, stressing that Abaaoud was not among them.
According to another report, only body parts were found at the scene of the raid. French teams were forced to use powerful munitions in the operation and one of the female terrorists allegedly blew herself up during the raid, causing an entire floor of the building to collapse, CNN reported, citing a Belgian counterterrorism official. Investigators will have to use DNA analysis to determine whether Abaaoud was killed, the source added.

Sweden raises terror threat level to second highest citing 'concrete information'
Sweden's security chief has raised the country's terror threat level to four on a scale of five, citing “concrete information.”
The decision was based on data from the National Center for Terrorist Threat Assessment, Sweden's security police (SAPO) said in a statement. The center is responsible for producing threat assessments for Sweden and Swedish interests abroad.

Una sparatoria è iniziata alle 4,20 a
Saint-Denis, sobborgo a nord di Parigi dove le teste di cuoio francesi
hanno dato l'assalto ad un covo di terroristi dove si pensa sia
asserragliato anche Abdelhamid Abaaoud considerato la mente delle stragi di Parigi
con 4 suoi complici. Ci sarebbero tre morti, fra cui una donna, mentre
tre delle persone all'interno del covo sono state prese vive. A questi
si aggiungono altri due arresti, di un uomo e una donna, nelle vicinanze
dell'appartamento. Forze dell'ordine e fonti giudiziarie affermano che
Abaaoud non è tra gli arrestati. Uno dei fermati sarebbe il padrone
dell'appartamento (al numero 8 di rue de Courbillon), un trentenne che
ha spiegato di aver ospitato su richiesta di un amico "due persone
provenienti dal Belgio: mi hanno chiesto un favore, gliel'ho fatto ma
non sapevo che si trattasse di terroristi". La donna si è fatta
esplodere per non essere presa dalle forze speciali francesi. L'edificio
in cui si trova l'appartamento con dentro il sospetto è stato evacuato e
sono state sentite tre esplosioni. Secondo voci non verificate uno dei
morti sarebbe un passante rimasto intrappolato al momento del blitz
mentre quattro membri delle forze dell'ordine sono rimasti feriti.
Nell'appartamento c'è ancora rintanata una persona, di cui non si
conosce ancora l'identità, che starebbe trattando con gli uomini dei
corpi speciali.

The French police and army swooped on a Paris suburb early
Wednesday amid heavy gunfire and explosions in the hunt for those behind
last Friday’s attacks. At least two suspects have been killed,
including a woman who blew herself up, and three arrested.
Residents of the suburb of
Saint-Denis, north of Paris, were awakened by an exchange of gunfire at
around 4:30 a.m. (0330 GMT) local time.

Paris attacks: Manhunt, investigation widen as world mourns victims
The Russian Foreign Ministry has confirmed that a Russian woman, Natalia Muravyova (Boulygina-Laurent), who has been missing since the attack on the Bataclan concert hall was, indeed, killed by the terrorists. Her body has been identified by her husband.
The woman held both Russian and French citizenship.
“Yes, I have identified her,” Muravyeva’s husband, Serge Laurent, who was wounded in the attack, notified the Russian Embassy in Paris.
