Air France mangers' clothes ripped off by angry mob, France
Air France managers were forced to flee a meeting on today (October 5) about mass job cuts after angry staff waving banners and flags stormed the room.
The airline's human resources and labour relations chief Xavier Broseta was jostled, his shirt ripped off and his tie hanging from his neck, as he battled his way through crowds of workers trying to escape.
Air France confirmed in the meeting, which will not resume on Monday, that it planned to cut 2,900 jobs by 2017 and shed 14 aircraft from its long-haul fleet, two union sources said.

AmVid: Tornado violently tears up houses, cranes and trees in China
Typhoon Mujigae caused a huge tornado in China on Sunday (4 October), which wreaked havoc in the city of Foshan. Videos of the tornado captured by local Foshan residents show mushroom-shaped clouds appeared in the sky at about 4pm. The tornado moved rapidly, overturning a coach, flattening a house and blowing a crane off the top of a building.

ENGLAND - MoD investigates 3 senior officers ‘in affairs with same woman’
Three married British military officers are being investigated by the Ministry of Defence (MoD) for allegedly having extramarital affairs with the same young female civil servant. Laura Dixon, 27, is at the heart of an MoD sex scandal, which led to the collapse of her relationship with former Royals Signals Captain Warren Howard.
The civil servant, who worked as an operation analyst at the Allied Rapid Reaction Corps (ARRC), is also believed to have slept with a married senior US officer.
