Tens of thousands march in London in largest #StopTrident demo in decades

FLORIDA - Women raped and sexually harassed at Florida farm awarded US$17.5m
Five former employees unlikely to receive money because vegetable packing plant closed and the three men, two of them owner’s sons, were never arrested. A federal jury awarded almost US$17. 5m to five former female employees of a South Florida farm who said they were either raped or sexually harassed at a vegetable packing plant, their lawyer and the US equal employment opportunity commission said on Thursday.
Three men, including two sons of the owner of Moreno Farms, near Fort Myers in southwest Florida, were accused of sexual harassment against the women in 2011 and 2012 in coolers and an office trailer at the packing house. They were also accused of rape, groping, kissing and threats they would be fired if they refused to have sex with supervisors, according to the legal complaint brought against Moreno Farms.
However, the women are unlikely to receive a penny because the packing house closed after the case was brought and the men were never arrested, a lawyer for the women, Victoria Mesa-Estrada, said.

MEXICO - 'Teen sexting legal’: New Mexico rules 14-17yos can exchange nude selfies without going to jail
Teens in the US state of New Mexico have been officially allowed to keep themselves busy sexting – sending or receiving sexually explicit messages, images through e-means, particularly between cell phones – without fear of paying the price and going to jail.
A new bill has legalized sexting between 14 and 17 years old, who willingly send explicit images of themselves to one another. Before it was passed, New Mexico minors could face charges of possessing, distributing and manufacturing child abuse images, if caught sexting. From now on, a pair of youths sharing explicit photos with each other no longer risk facing child pornography charges, prison terms and a criminal record.
“Kids will be kids, and they’re going to make mistakes,” state senator George Muñoz, a Democrat who pressed for an amendment to the child pornography bill. “You can’t punish them for the rest of their lifetime with a charge of child pornography… if they’re consensually sending photos back and forth,” the Guardian quoted him as saying.

Spain agrees to extradite ‘Jihad Jane’ recruiter to US to face terrorism charges
Spain has approved a request from the US to extradite an alleged jihadist , Ali Charaf Damache, who is believed to have conspired with a woman known as “Jihad Jane,” to recruit people to carry out terror attacks in Europe and Asia. Washington had wanted to speak to Damache, who was arrested in December in Barcelona. Police were alerted to his presence in the Spanish city thanks to a telephone tip-off to the country’s emergency 112 number, Spanish media reported.
US officials believe he conspired with an American woman, Colleen LaRose, known in the US media as “Jihad Jane,” to create a “violent jihad organization” and to carry out attacks in Europe. The Spanish government ruled in favor of granting the US extradition case Friday and if Damache is found guilty, he could face up to 45 years in prison.

AMERICA - Trump 'reminds me of Hitler’ - ex-Mexican President Vicente Fox
Former Mexican President Vicente Fox, buoyed by the support in his criticism of Donald Trump, went further and told CNN the frontrunner reminds him of Adolf Hitler.
"Today, he's going to take that nation [US] back to the old days of conflict, war and everything. I mean, he reminds me of Hitler. That's the way he started speaking," Fox told CNN in a phone interview.
"He has offended Mexico, Mexicans, [and] immigrants. He has offended the Pope. He has offended the Chinese. He's offended everybody," Fox told CNN in a phone interview. Vincent Fox, 73, served as Mexico's president from 2000 to 2006.
"I'm not going to pay for that f***ing wall," Fox said in an interview with Fusion's Jorge Ramos.
Republican presidential front runner, Donald Trump bashed former Mexican President Vicente Fox Thursday on Twitter for using the "F-word" in declaring that this country would not build a wall at the U.S. border to stop illegal immigration. FMR PRES of Mexico, Vicente Fox horribly used the F word when discussing the wall. He must apologize! If I did that there would be a uproar! Fox told CNN he won’t apologize for that remark.
It is not the first time a Hitler reference has been linked to Trump. A Vanity Fair expose from 1990 on Donald and Ivana Trump’s divorce said Ivana told her lawyer Michael Kennedy that her husband kept a collection of Hitler’s speeches in his bedside cabinet, and from time to time read them. The book was My New Order, containing Hitler’s speeches from his earliest days up to the Start of World War II in 1939.
CNN also reported last month Anne Frank's stepsister accused Trump of "acting like another Hitler."

Spoilsports: US college bans energy drinks over ‘high risk’ sex and excessive drinking
Those seeking to quench their thirst and get an energy boost will be hard pressed at Middlebury College in Vermont, which has just banned the sale of drinks like Red Bull because they apparently contribute to excessive drinking and “high risk” sex. While one might argue that over-the-top booze sessions and sex is part of the college experience, cafeteria management at the institution appear to disagree.
Middlebury College’s dining services have released an information flyer that links energy drinks to drunk driving, “high-risk sexual activity,” and the use of other “intoxicating” substances, report NBC News.
