Ci siamo trovati un poco perplessi, nel leggere e pubblicare la notizia della agenzia ANSA. Non certo per l'ANSA, agenzia di autorevole rispetto, gestita da colleghi veramente capaci, ma per il contesto della cosa: il diritto all'Oblio. Forse crediamo che il concetto di oblio, qui descritto dal direttore di Wikipedia, sia sostanzialmente differente da quello nostro. Il diritto all'oblio rifiutato e' come rifiutare il diritto alla dolce morte. E' questione di scelte profonde, a volte dolorose. Non crediamo sia sufficiente che la definizione storica dell'individuo non debba sparire nel nulla, elettronicamente parlando: un conto e' cio' che l'individuo non vuole far sapere e un conto e' cio' che non si deve far sapere se l'individuo muore.

La OMS asegura que el mundo “subestima la magnitud” del ébola

La Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS) declaró el jueves que el nivel que ha alcanzado el brote de ébola en África occidental ha sido enormemente infravalorado por la comunidad internacional y que es necesario tomar “medidas extraordinarias” para detener la enfermedad, que ya le ha costado la vida a 1.145 personas y ha afectado a 2.127, según los últimos datos difundidos por la OMS. En un severo comunicado, la organización ha anunciado que está coordinando “un masivo aumento de la respuesta internacional”, en un intento de detener la peor epidemia de esta fiebre hemorrágica desde que fue descubierta en 1976.

Kazakhstani woman arrested in USA after abuse from her husband

A Kazakhstani citizen Ms. Asiya Kushenova has been arrested in the USA for habitation of private property without owner’s consent and using force towards a pregnant woman, Tengrinews reports citing the Kazakhstan Ministry Foreign Affairs.Ms. Kushenova’s mother Gulsaira Zhunusova, a resident of Kazakhstan, is trying to find her little grandson Tamerlan who has been taken away by the U.S. Social Services after his mother’s arrest. Ms. Kushenova remains under arrest at the Leon County Jail. She is also accused f violation of the U.S. immigration laws. Her hearing is scheduled for August 26. The Kazakhstani will be defended by public defender Mathew Williams.

Australian hospital mistakenly ‘kills’ 200 patients

An Australian hospital has apologized after mistakenly sending letters to doctors saying 200 patients had died. The communication should have said they had been discharged. The Austin Hospital in Melbourne has contacted the GPs involved. They have put blunder down to human error.
What we have to believe, now? This is the number thousand information of " bad health service" in the world. Does exist a good hospital sure in all, can ask the users of Health Service in the world? If it exists external control for the activities in the industries, why not extend these controls also to hospitals?

Giovane ucciso, agente sarà identificato

La polizia di Ferguson ha deciso di rendere noto il nome dell'agente che ha sparato e ucciso un ragazzo nero di 18 anni, Michael Brown, mentre era disarmato. Lo riferisce la Cnn, che cita fonti vicino alle indagini. L'identita' del poliziotto sara' resa nota venerdì.
Ma un altro giovane e' stato ucciso dalla polizia a Saint Louis. E ieri, il presidente degli Stati Uniti Obama ha dichiarato che non ci sono scuse sull'uso indebito della forza da parte delle forze dell'ordine.

British citizen died in Tengiz

Andrew Robinson, 49, citizen of Great Britain is found dead in his camp room in Tengiz.
According to Gulnazira Mukhtarova, press service head of Atyrau Internal Affairs Department, expat's body was discovered in the morning of August 13. Forensic-medical examination has been commissioned.  According to the preliminary version- the death was caused by heart attack.
We managed to learn that Robinson worked at Atyrau-Bolashak company as production operations manager at Tengiz. His colleagues discovered the body when they went to check why he didn’t report to work that morning. The body of the deceased was transported from Tengiz to Atyrau last night.  His family in Great Britain has been informed.
