4 rapists of 23 years old student were condemned to death in India. Finally
the ice moved...
The inhuman severity of this crime shocked the entire world and everybody has tremulously been waiting for the latest news. Finally, the ice moved and the convicts have heard their verdict.
Similar offences
against women have been committed moreover taken the tradition in India and
many Asian countries but unfortunately in major cases people stay eyes shut. So
what makes this one so high-profile? Of course it is horrible severe manner and
the outcry. Nowadays it is very
important when society reacts and expresses their opinion to what happens
around. Thus, for essence an activity (demonstration) supporting the 23 year
old gang-rape victim and protests against the such outrage that apparently
takes place in India conveyed to us one of the main problems of the nation in
whole. Apparently they reached what they wanted; the door which they knocked in
has been opened. People around the world have been discussing this vicious
crime and the Court sets the justice as if satisfied the demands of the
protesters: “Hang All The Culprits Damini Rape”
We
don’t want to object the decision of the Court but there is one moment remains to
be discussed: Was it a well-deserved sentence or the death penalty as too
barbaric as this gruesome violence nowadays. Absolutely, there is no more
horrible thing than to be fatally tortured. Consequently, people committed that
kind of crime deserves no tolerance and must carry the severest punishment,
which is in an understanding of the majority – a death penalty. However
applying it don’t we lose a board between bad and good; crime and justice; the
outrage which surround us and disciplined kind society? Doesn’t set justice
with the principle “Death to death” equal us to their degree? Should there be
some boundaries which will differ us from criminals??? To kill or not to kill –
that is a question!
