Are you in Moskow? Spend few hrs here...

CAFÉ PUSHKIN

CAFÉ PUSHKIN
For many of Russia’s social elite, café Pushkin is the place to go.
Designed to recreate the feel of the 19 century aristocrat’s house, the restaurant has become one of the most popular in Moscow, thanks to the quality of its food, the impeccable service and excellent vodka selection. The atmosphere of pre-Revolution Russia is delightfully charming, from the flowery script of the menu to aristocratic country house décor. "Pushkin" - is the ideal destination if you want to be treated like Russian nobility and dine like a Tsar – but book ahead, the restaurant’s popularity requires reservation well in advance.

New Putin style, or misunderstanding a Law?

 Swearing ban
I believe that is bordering a little on the ridiculous, if not the norm. Far from accusing a head of state, I find this law, which came into force recently, a method to combat the culture and not to fight the true ignorance. It is not giving fines or arrest an individual, or worse censor books historically true especially for literature, which fights blasphemy and foul language. Following this law, Boccaccio, the Divine Comedy, and all the works of world literature should be censured and imposed to 6 billion adults of not say bad words or cursing a dumb penalty or prison. Perhaps the law, in the original language, does not exactly say so, or maybe it's a bogeyman momentary allowing the people to adapt to the uncultivated good use of their own language. But we do not believe so, because many books of Pushkin and Lermontov were already censored, as shown by the photograph. So, gentlemen, if you find yourself wandering the streets of Moscow, do not say out loud that the "dum... ..y " doorman did not understand that you had booked the room, otherwise you would pay a penalty of 2,500 rubles !

 Bad words
