Microblogging service Twitter has gone down. Its website says the service has technical problems and promises to resolve them soon, but provides no further details.
Both the web service and the version for mobile devices have been affected. The problem affecting the service apparently is global, with reports of Twitter being inaccessible coming from the Netherlands, the UAE, the US and other countries.
