"Operators of three largest oil projects of Kazakhstan such as Kashagan, Karachaganak and Tengiz will set up drilling and engineering joint ventures," Kazakhstan's 1st Vice Minister of Energy Minister Uzakbai Karabalin told a briefing in Astana.
"It is necessary to use every opportunity to create competent domestic companies. The optimum alternative is setting up joint ventures together with the world leaders applying high technologies," he noted.
