L'EDITORIALE DELLA DOMENICA DI MIKHAIL LERMONTOV

Ho tardato a dare il mio editoriale perchè volevo approfondire quanto comunicato poche ore fa, circa la messa al bando della partecipazione del team russo anche alle Paralimpiadi. Mi chiedo che senso ha, tutto questo?

Me lo chiedo non perchè parteggio o meno per i russi, ma perchè non ci credo come cittadino, che solo l'entourage russo abbia pecche con l'antidoping.

Già l'Olimpiade è cominciata maluccio, con ritardi di ogni genere e sicuramente con mille problemi che verranno alla luce nei giorni a seguire. A parte il furto fatto alla squadra russa in albergo e i due morti fuori del Maracana, oggi il turismo si lamentava della mancanza di mezzi pubblici per recarsi alle gare, e se consideriamo che Rio aspetta 500 mila visitatori  con la penuria di alloggi, ci si aspetterà reazioni negative a non finire.

Io non sono là, ma conosco Rio perchè là ci lavorai 6 mesi, anni fa. Il furto del portafoglio fa parte del folklore, così come la morte violenta o lo stupro durante il carnevale. Ma da questo ad offrire alloggi mal costruiti alle squadre di sportivi e non dare adeguati mezzi di trasporto per chi viaggia pagando anticipatamente, mi sembra una cosa non corretta.

Stiamo a vedere cosa succederà nei prossimi giorni e poi quello che avverrà nelle Paralimpiadi. Anche se ormai, tutti stanno guardando Tokio, dove si svolgeranno le prossime olimpiadi. Ancora non è cominciata questa che già si guarda alla prossima!

I have been slow to give my column because I wanted to explore what was communicated a few hours ago, about the banning of the participation of the Russian team also at the Paralympics. I wonder what is the point, all this?

I wonder, because not sided with or less for the Russians, but because I do not believe as a citizen, that only the Russian entourage has flaws with the anti-doping.

Already the Olympics started this lily, with delays of any kind, and certainly with a thousand problems that will come to light in the days to follow.

Apart from the theft made to the Russian team in the hotel and the two dead outside the Maracana, today tourism complained of the lack of public transport for going to the races, and if we consider that Rio expects 500,000 visitors, with the shortage of housing, you expect negative reactions to no end.

I'm not there, but I know Rio because I worked there six months, years ago. The theft of the portfolio is part of the folklore, as well as the violent death or rape during carnival. But from poorly constructed to offer accommodation to the teams of sports and do not give adequate means of transport for travelers paying in advance, I think one thing incorrect.

Let's see what will happen in the next few days and then what will happen in the Paralympics. Although now all are watching Tokyo, which will host the next Olympics. Still it did not start this one  here, that we already watch to the next!
