E' stato rilasciato il frate francescano Hanna Jallouf rapito la notte del 5 ottobre in Siria dal Fronte al-Nusra, legato ad al-Qaeda, insieme a una ventina di cristiani. Lo riferiscono gli attivisti dell'opposizione siriana via Twitter. Il sequestro era avvenuto a Qunayeh, nella provincia nord orientale siriana di Idlib, non lontano dal confine con la Turchia. "Padre Hanna Jallouf è stato riportato a Knayeh, in convento. Non può lasciare il villaggio ma è libero di muoversi al suo interno" , conferma padre Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Custode di Terra Santa. Il frate è in buone condizioni. Ieri erano state liberate quattro donne sequestrate con il frate.
