Second Russian aid convoy enters Ukraine without permission from Kyiv

A convoy of Russian aid trucks bound for the separatist held city of Luhansk in east Ukraine have crossed the border into the country. It is the second such convoy to enter Ukraine without the permission of the government in Kyiv. According to Russia the trucks are carrying food, medicine and generators. A fragile ceasefire continues to hold despite reports of sporadic fighting. At the Yalta European Strategy meeting taking place in the Ukranian capital acting Prime Minster Arseniy Yatsenyuk said two-way talks between Kyiv and Moscow are unequal and should be avoided: “We are not so strong to have bilateral talks and get a bilateral deal with Russia. They will outplay us, that’s what they expect and what they want to do. Putin wants a frozen conflict and he wants his hands in our belly fat.”
