Kazakhstan, updating on Kalachi syndrome: Issues of ecological conditions in Kalachi and Beryozovka discussed at Government meeting

Yesterday in Ukimet Uyi Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Berdibek Saparbayev chaired Working Group meeting, during which they examined the situation in the village Kalachi in the Akmola region and Beryozovka in the West Kazakhstan region.
The meeting was attended by members of the committee, heads of central and local executive bodies, representatives of scientific organizations, Kazinform has learnt from the website of the Prime Minister.
It was noted that at the moment , activities on preventive examinations are completed in the villages Kalachi and Beryozovka. All residents are provided with individual socio-medical passports. In order to ensure continuous monitoring of the environmental situation in Kalachi environmental roadblocks are established.
Following the meeting B.Saparbayev gave specific instructions to the relevant state agencies. In particular, deputy prime minister ordered to present the outcome of the commission till 20 January 2015.
Deputy Prime Minister stressed that the problems of the regions are constantly monitored by the Head of State.
