On strike German trains
German train drivers are set to strike for the second time in a week on Saturday as part of demands for higher wages and shorter working hours.
The three-hour walk-out by workers from the GBL union will affect passengers travelling on Saturday morning between 6 and 9 CET.
The union, which represents about 37,000 drivers,
conductors and shunters, wants a pay rise of 5 percent and the working week reduced from the current 39 hours to 37.
