7.2 magnitude quake strikes off Central America coast, tsunami alert issued
A 7.2 magnitude earthquake struck off the Pacific coast of Central America. It was felt in several countries across the region. The US Pacific Tsunami Warning Center issued a tsunami warning.
The “harzardous” tsumani waves are possible within 300 km from the quake epicenter along the coasts of Nicaragua, El Salvador and Honduras, the Center specifies.
