Poland continues to protest against attempts by opponents of abortion bring to Parliament a civil initiative that would put abortion outlawed. Currently abortion is allowed in Poland in a number of individual cases, such as birth as a result of rape or incest, danger to the life of the mother or the non-viability of the fetus.
