Drone flies over sea to deliver Singapore Post package - BBC News

Singapore Post is the latest package delivery firm to trial drone-based deliveries. The firm flew a package containing a t-shirt and letter from an industrial estate on the main island to Pulau Ubin - a nearby smaller island. The company has described it as the "first step" towards regular final-mile drop-offs by drone. But it acknowledges there are still technical and safety issues to be solved.
