Mid-air collision of 2 planes over western Slovakia, at least 7 dead
At least seven people have been killed after two planes collided near a village in western Slovakia, officials said. Media reports suggest there were about 40 people on board both aircraft.
The incident took place near the village of Cerveny Kamen at about 0830 GMT, Zuzana Farkasova, a spokeswoman for the Slovak firefighters told AP.
An ambulance and a helicopter were deployed at the scene of the incident, local media reported.
