Massive explosion rocks north China city
A massive blast has been reported in the industrial area in the northeastern Chinese city of Tianjin late on Wednesday. Photos and videos posted on social media showed a huge mushroom cloud lighting up the night sky. State news agency Xinhua reported that the fire had been brought under control, but that contact had been lost with two firefighters. The agency said that more than 50 people had been admitted to local hospitals with burns and other complaints, though several online media claimed there were hundreds of victims.
