Parts of Eindhoven and Geldorp have been without power since 3:00 p.m. On Monday. According to grid operator Enixis, 12,670 households are affected by the power outage. The grid operator told Eindhovens Dagblad that the power outage is due to a fault in the transformer station in Eindhoven-Oost. They report that mechanics are on the way to investigate. The exact cause of the fault, and how long it will take to repair it, are still unknown.
