Pre-scheduled Presidential elections may take place on April 19, 2015 in Kazakhstan, said a source familiar with the law on pre-scheduled Presidential elections, azh.kzreports referring to kaztag.
"Pre-scheduled elections of Kazakhstan President will take place on Sunday- April 19, 2015. According to the electoral law pre-scheduled elections must take place within two month. This Wednesday a joint session of the chambers of the Parliament will take place, the deputies will support the application of the Assembly of People of Kazakhtan. Then, most likely, on Thursday, the President will sign a decree on pre-scheduled elections," he said.
The Assembly of People of Kazakhstan applied to Majilis on Saturday about holding of pre-scheduled elections in Kazakhstan.
