The M25 was described as the "road to hell" today after a section caved in because concrete used in overnight repair work had failed to set. Three anti-clockwise lanes remain shut between junctions 9 and 10 in Surrey after the large pothole appeared near Leatherhead following a night of heavy rain. They are expected to stay closed until early evening but the junction 9 exit has reopened.
