A German policeman has gone on trial accused of murdering a man he met on a cannibalism fetish website and making a gruesome pornographic video at his B&B home. Prosecutors say the Detlev Guenzel, 56, killed the willing victim at his home last November, before cutting the body into small pieces and burying them in his garden. Dresden chief prosecutor Andreas Feron said: "He killed and dismembered him to get sexual stimulation and then later to get sexual stimulation by watching the video he made."
A New York City police officer has been convicted of plotting to kidnap, cook and eat women. The jury reached the verdict at the kidnapping conspiracy trial of Officer Gilberto Valle, a 28-year-old father with an admitted fetish for talking on the Internet about cannibalism. Valle's lawyers argued that he was just fantasising and noted that none of the women were ever harmed.
