Anti-Uber violence: Protesting taxi drivers smash up car

Demonstrations by Parisian taxi drivers against the expansion of Uber services in the city turned violent yesterday (June 25), with reports of scuffles between protesters and motorists, burning road blocks and overturned vehicles. 
Taxi drivers see the UberPOP app as unfair competition. Riot police were deployed to some of the protests.
