Fire on premises of space rocket center in Samara, Russia
A huge blaze has broken out at a warehouse of the Research and Production Rocket Space Center in the southern Russian city of Samara, local media report. A source cited by RIA Novosti said that an area of about 1.000 sq meters has been affected.
At least 60 people and 17 vehicles are currently battling the blaze, Tatiana Kovaleva from the press service of the Samara emergency services told RT.
“A two-storey warehouse on the center's premises is on fire. Firefighters are working at the scene,” sources from the emergency services told TASS.
Footage of the fire has emerged online.
