Volkswagen chief executive Martin Winterkorn resigns
The CEO of Volkswagen AG Martin WInterkorn has resigned over the emissions scandal. The German auto maker could be facing billions of dollars in fines after the company admitted 11 million vehicles worldwide were fitted with pollution control cheating software.
