NASA footage: Sun erupts blasting out solar material

Video released Tuesday (June 30) by NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory, shows time-lapse footage of huge eruption on the side of the sun.The eruption, which took place on June 18 grew into what NASA called a substantial coronal mass ejection, meaning a giant cloud of material from the sun was blasted into space.
