Ci siamo: nella notte fra sabato 24 e domenica 25 ottobre, ritorna l'ora solare: lancette indietro di un'ora quindi e un'ora di sonno in più. Fin qui tutto bene, pare. Tuttavia, si perde anche un’ora di luce. E non è proprio una cosa da poco. Non sono poche infatti le persone a soffrire di Sad, ovvero della depressione stagionale (letteralmente seasonal affective disorder).

Russia allows imports of cheese from 8 Swiss companies

Eight Swiss companies have been allowed to sell cheese in Russia by the country's food safety regulator. The companies will also be able to supply meat products to Russia.

The decision was based on the results of inspections carried out in February by Rosselkhoznadzor, according to a statement issued by the regulator on Monday. A total of 13 Swiss firms have been inspected by Rosselkhoznadzor. Next month the veterinary services of the two countries are to consider the other five vetted companies supplying products to Russia.

BBC journalist found hanged at Istanbul airport, friends allege murder

Jacky Sutton, a British BBC journalist and acting director for the Institute for War and Peace Reporting (IWPR), has been found dead at Istanbul’s Ataturk Airport after missing a connecting flight to Iraq.

Sutton, 50, was found hanged in a toilet cubicle in the early hours of Sunday morning after missing her connecting flight from Istanbul to Erbil, Iraq, which departed at 12:15am. According to airport staff, Sutton appeared distressed when she was told she had to buy another ticket.

Horror on Lisbon-Dublin flight as man dies after “running amok” & biting passenger

In a bizarre and terrifying incident, a 24-year-old man has died on a Dublin-bound flight after “running amok,” and biting another passenger. The crew described him as being, “extremely violent.”

The Aer Lingus flight took off from Lisbon, Portugal and was en route to Dublin, Ireland.

All of a sudden a man "ran amok" across the cabin, bit a fellow passenger and had to be restrained by the crew. He injured“one or two passengers.” The crew had to broadcast an emergency ‘Pan Pan’ message three times and told air traffic controllers about the incident, before making an unscheduled landing at Cork airport.
